Healthcare Tsar

What is a Tsar?  Emperor?  Title of any of the former emperors of Russia, and at various times the sovereigns of other Slavic nations. Czar? This spelling is a derivative of Ceasar, the ancient Roman rulers, who held unlimited power over Rome. Why do we define Tsar? Because President Obama has appointed a multitude of Tsars, or are they Czars, or with President Obama, are we to be afraid of these Tsars/Czars?

The President has just appointed a new Healthcare Tsar. If our definition is correct, he will have unlimited power over healthcare. He will be into choice. You may choose a chocolate chip cookie. But, our Tsar/Csar, may only have oatmeal or raisin cookies available. You will be the loser, because you won't get your chocolate chip cookie.

In spite of humor, this is a very serious appointment. This Tsar, will be making medical decisions, based on protocols on what the government will allow you to have in your healthcare. Even more scary, are the number of Tsars, the President has appointed. I think this nation's in trouble.

Czar, being a derivative of Ceasar, if you remember the Ceasars were worshipped as human deities, but more importantly, they defined civilization in the Roman period. I believe that President Obama just met with the most powerful man in Russia.
