Compassion & Choices admits Brittney Maynard was “perfect match” for their suicide agenda
By Texas Right to Life
Brittany Maynard
In a video for the one-year anniversary of Maynard’s death, the president of “Compassion & Choices” (formerly known as the Hemlock Society), Barbara Coombs Lee, hinted at the fact that Maynard was a pawn in the legalization game. “Brittany came on the scene and set in motion a chain of events that passed an [assisted suicide] bill through the California legislature less than one year after her death. We had been trying to do that since 1991.”
What Coombs Lee does not mention is that the publicity surrounding Maynard’s death and the months leading up to her death was purposefully funded by anti-Life mogul George Soros, who bankrolls C&C.
“It was kind of a perfect match, if you will,” admitted Coombs. “We were ready as an organization to lift our sails. And the wind of Brittany’s message filled our sails. And so now we are under full sail ahead. I don’t think anything can stop us now.”
Although Maynard’s story ended tragically and without hope, her experience set the stage for many other terminally-ill patients to share why they chose Life – even in the face of death. Meet a few of these heroes for Life:
