Pro-life activist’s book focuses on best way to share the pro-life message

Stephanie Gray, an international speaker, pro-life activist, and author of “A Physician’s Guide to Discussing Abortion” has released “Love Unleashes Life,” a guide for pro-lifers on how to more effectively communicate the truth about abortion.
Anyone who wants to change hearts and minds about abortion should read this book. Gray’s advice is drawn from her experiences debating abortion doctors and talking with students at pro-life display tables, and it’s insightful, easy to follow, and proven to work.
Gray has a clear and convincing response for all of the most common pro-abortion arguments. But more importantly, through “Love Unleashes Life,” Gray teaches pro-lifers that the best approach is one that comes from a place of love and compassion, no matter what the argument.
She reminds us that pro-choicers are people with their own set of experiences which have led them to be in favor of abortion.  She shares the example of Pete. Pete argued that abortion is sometimes necessary to prevent children from suffering. Gray realized during the conversation that she needed to ask Pete if he knew anyone who suffered a lot.

“Yeah, my mom and my siblings,” he told her. “We lived in poverty. We had nothing. My mom was beaten so badly by her husband that she ran away from him and lived on the streets for a time.”
What Pete told her helped Gray to realize that Pete didn’t want to kill anyone through abortion, but rather that he loved people so much he didn’t want to see anyone suffer. She was able to help Pete realize that there are better ways to prevent suffering than through killing.

In “Love Unleashes Life” Gray offers a script for pro-lifers – how to ask the right questions, how to respond with love, and how to successfully argue in favor of life.

Gray shows us that it doesn’t matter what the argument in favor of abortion is, there is a solid, truthful answer we can give in response. And they’re right here in “Love Unleashes Life.” All pro-lifers can learn something from this book, no matter our debating skills or experience level.
