Handmade for Life: Artists unite to support a culture of life

Handmade for Life, Etsy Calling all crafters and artists…
Etsy is a popular site for those who like to purchase handmade gifts. It’s also popular among those who like to create in their spare time and share some of their unique creations with the world. But today, I discovered something even better on Etsy: Handmade for Life.
Handmade for Life is “a group of artists and crafters who believe in the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. We uphold the truth that all people have an inalienable right to life that should be protected and defended.”
This group explains its mission:
[T]o build up a Culture of Life through the work of our hands. We hail from all walks of life to join together in word and deed for these purposes: to support and inspire each other and our communities, and to stand together in our conviction with positive action in the defense of innocent life.
Not only does Handmade for Life connect pro-life crafters together, but it also has a blog with some pretty amazing, very informational, and heart-touching posts.

Handmade for Life’s website links to 135 Etsy shops. That’s over 100 crafters and artists who have joined together to stand for “positive action in the defense of innocent life.” This is exactly the kind of group that needs to be formed in every profession and community throughout our nation. When people with common interests unite for a higher purpose, change happens!
What profession do you belong to? What community are you a part of? Is there a pro-life group you can join and spur on to action? Can you start a group and invite your colleagues, friends, or neighbors? How can you be a part of changing the culture?
How can you shift opinion, influence belief, and inspire action so that innocent life is defended today and in the future?
You may not be able to do everything to stop abortion, but you can do something. And it may begin with something as “small” as uniting people with your common interests to take a public stand for life, together, just like Handmade for Life is doing.

If you’re an artist or a crafter, read here and see if you can join Handmade for Life. Encourage your fellow members to continue speaking out for life and taking action to save the innocent children. (It looks like it may have been some time since this group was active.)
And don’t forget to stop by these pro-life shops and find a unique, handmade item to purchase. Let them know you’ve become a customer in support of their pro-life beliefs and in appreciation for their willingness to influence our culture by taking a stand! You may just inspire them to even greater action!
