What's The Difference Between A Real Hero And a Fake One?

I recently viewed a video on someone's wall, in which Meryl Streep gives an academy award accolade to Hillary Clinton. Meryl glorified the U.S. Secretary of State, saying that, she, Meryl, merely played great women as an actress, but Hillary was a real great woman. Meryl gushed with a litany of heroine Clinton's humanitarian pursuits, and all those whose human rights she had defended.

So where is heroine Clinton in the case of Chen Guangcheng, the Chinese dissident, who has suffered years of torture and imprisonment because he objects to the forced abortions and sterilizations being imposed on women in his country. Chen recently escaped with the help of a very brave young woman, He Peirong, who has now disappeared herself, after helping Chen, who is totally blind, make it to the U.S. Embassy, where he hoped to find sanctuary and friendship - even believing that heroine Hillary would take him back to the U.S. on her own airplane.

Quoting from LifeSiteNews: "Chen's presence in the embassy during the past week was little more than a dangerous irritant for Hillary Clinton's State Department. The main goal of that agency has long been the promotion and protection of American commercial interests abroad, and "human rights" often provide useful cover for criticizing regimes that are recalcitrant in the face of American economic pressure. The Chen affair, however, only threatens an amicable and highly profitable relationship between the U.S. and China, and presents no "upside" for the American bottom line."

Moreover - the greatest embarrassment for humanitarian heroine Clinton and the Obama administration, is Chen's opposition to China's population control agenda, a policy which the radical pro-abortion Obama administration supports and finances!

Poor Chen's hopes of having his human rights defended by the U.S. and heroine Hillary, sadly discovered he had taken sanctuary in the wrong church, saying that, his American hosts were sounding more like fellow-members of the international population-control mafia that is killing his own country, than the idealistic defenders of human rights that Americans supposedly are.

Saying that he felt pressured to leave the embassy, Chen finally decided to do so when American officials informed him that if he didn't, his wife would be beaten by vengeful Chinese officials.

So they gave Chen many hugs, promising to take him to a nice Chinese hospital, where they would stay with him. Instead, he and his wife were abandoned there, and his desperate calls to the embassy have gone unanswered.

Following on the heels of Chen's plight, He Peirong, the young Chinese heroine who helped Chen flee to the U.S. Embassy, has disappeared.  Advocates say she has likely been kidnapped by Chinese officials, who are infamous for their brutal torture methods against those who defy the Communist regime.

Reggie Littlejohn of Women's Right Without Frontiers, a U.S. based advocacy group against forced abortions in China, with deep connections to Chen's community, said that Peirong has already suffered torture and jailing for her efforts several times. But her success this time, in helping Chen Guangcheng escape to the U.S. Embassy, is probably the final nail in her coffin, as she has disappeared without a trace, immediately following Chen's escape.

Women's Rights Without Frontiers, is quoted as saying:  "Chen Guangcheng is the Gandhi of our time.  He is a man of inconceivable bravery.  Poor, blind, beaten and jailed, he nevertheless possesses the surpassing backbone to stand alone against the crushing brutality of the Communist Regime."  And it's for sure he stands alone without the help of Meryl's heroine Hillary.

He is the "Tank Man" (for those of you who remember the young Chinese student who stood before an armored tank, during the short-lived student rebellion in China). Chen stands alone against China's One-Child policy - he stands without humanitarian Hillary at his side, or the American Embassy.

Now, He Peirong, the beautiful, petite Chinese woman who aided Chen in his quest for sanctuary from the Americans, has probably paid a terrible price for her bravery, and the treacherous betrayal of Secretary of State Hillary and the Obama administration, which at present, is the regime, which oppresses our nation, and abandons all those who seek our help.

Meryl, with all due respect, though I appreciate your art, I must say you are far off the beam with this one.  Your judgment of what constitutes a real heroine,  is deeply flawed.  You've been play-acting for so long, you can't tell the difference between a fake heroine, and the true heroes and heroines of this world.

Chen Guangcheng and He Peirong, are true heroes, who, on Judgment Day, will receive the true Awards, from the Academy of the Most High.  God bless Chen Guangcheng and He Peirong, and let us keep them and their families in our prayers.
