Federally funded Children’s Hospital gives 12-year-olds Plan B without telling parents
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, May 16, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Children's Hospital Colorado provides birth control, the morning after pill, and IUDs to children as young as 12 without parental notification, according to a new investigation.
Joe Cole of Fox 21 News spent a year investigating the Colorado Springs facility, which provides 100% free birth control for anyone aged 12-24.
Plan B and the IUD, as well as the hormonal birth control pill, release high levels of hormones into the woman's body, and can have a variety of side effects. They can also act to induce an early abortion by preventing the implanation of an already fertilized embryo. Yet the hospital will not notify parents if young minor girls are using the services and devices, even if they know the child's parents had no idea she was seeking medical treatment.
Cole also reports that the hospital's website, BC4U.org, originally contained graphic sexual content, including a slide show illustrating 64 different sexual positions.
When the hospital was asked how such a display helped promote safe sex, Cole says officials declined to

and others containing questionable, sexually charged material that
reporters asked about, were removed from the hospital's website before
Cole's piece could air.
The birth control facility is funded by federal tax dollars through Title X, as well as by Colorado family planning grants.
The trend toward shutting parents out of their children's reproductive lives is accelerating at home due to the HHS mandate, and around the world. Canadian abortion facilities proudly declare they will perform abortions on 12-year-olds without parental consent. Earlier this month, a judge with the UK's High Court ruled that a 13-year-old girl was competent to decide whether she wanted to have an abortion.
